A new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie is set to follow in Spider-Man footsteps. The first trailer is almost bursting with Hollywood stars like Jackie Chan.
No one would have guessed that Spider-Man could make his best appearance away from the MCU. But Spider-Man: A New Universe proved it. Producer and comedy master Seth Rogen now wants to perform a similar miracle with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. Thanks to stars like Jackie Chan. And the first trailer looks very promising.

In the footsteps of Spider-Man, Jackie Chan lends his voice to TMNT movie
Unfortunately, there is not much of the story to see in the first glimpse, which so far remains under wraps. But it is already clear that the original version of the film is acoustically convincing with a lot of Hollywood flair. In addition to Chan as ninja master Splinter, the voices will include Marvel star Paul Rudd and Breaking Bad creep Giancarlo Esposito.
Similar to A New Universe, Mutant Mayhem also makes use of an elaborate animation technique. Unlike the Marvel smash hit, however, the turtle action must first prove the renewed theatrical viability of its franchise. The live-action film adaptation Ninja Turtles 2 developed into a heavy flop in 2016.
