The first trailer for Dune 2 is finally here. In November, the hotly anticipated science fiction sequel starring Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya opens in German cinemas.
Welcome back to the desert of Arrakis! After the first images from Dune 2 were released last week, we can present you the trailer today. About one and a half years have passed since the theatrical release of Dune. Now the science fiction epic goes into the next round – and it will be very serious and gloomy.
Is Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) really the chosen one? Can he ride the giant sandworms? And will the House of Atreides survive? The first trailer for Dune 2 gives us an exciting glimpse of the sequel, once again directed by star director Denis Villeneuve (Arrival, Blade Runner 2049).

The Dune 2 trailer promises a giant sci-fi sequel and plenty of blockbuster bombast
After the trailer, it’s already clear that Dune 2 will be a thrilling blockbuster event, conquering the big screen in breathtaking imagery that will make movie theaters quake. Stylistically, Villeneuve follows on seamlessly from the predecessor. Nevertheless, we can look forward to some innovations, especially with regard to the ensemble.
