A good six months after its theatrical release, Avatar 2 is coming to the Disney+ streaming subscription. Starting in June, you’ll be able to watch James Cameron’s sci-fi blockbuster at home at no extra cost
With Avatar 2: The Way of Water, James Cameron once again created one of the most successful movies of all time. With a worldwide box office takings of a good 2.3 billion dollars the sci-fi sequel is the third most successful film ever.
If you still haven’t seen Avatar 2 or want to watch it again at no extra cost, Disney+ will give you the chance in June. The German streaming start for James Cameron’s mega-bombast is now officially set.
Streaming Avatar 2 in early June on Disney+ subscription
As Disney announced in an official press release, Avatar 2 will be available on Disney+’s streaming subscription starting June 7, 2023. Then all subscribers:inside can watch the sci-fi spectacle at no additional cost.
In the plot of the sci-fi sequel, Jake and his family must leave the forests of Pandora to protect the Na’vi. They find refuge with the water tribe of the Metkayina, where, however, they are not safe for long from the next enemy threat.
In addition to the thrilling story, Avatar 2: The Way of Water naturally trumps again with incomparable visual effects. Especially the underwater scenes come with a photorealistic beauty that has never been seen before.
