In the plot of Mark L. Lester’s action inferno, Arnie plays former special forces officer John Matrix, who prefers to spend time with his family in seclusion. When his daughter is kidnapped by a former colleague and he is blackmailed into committing a political assassination, Schwarzenegger’s main character embarks on a rescue mission as a merciless one-man army.
