ProSieben airs the finale of a comedy masterpiece after 10 years. But at broadcast time, most fans can’t even watch it.
10 years of fans writhing in fits of laughter, now it’s time. After Netflix, Brooklyn Nine-Nine also ends on TV with the season 8 finale. However, ProSieben is airing the finale at a time when many fans will not see it.
Many Brooklyn Nine-Nine fans will miss the finale on ProSieben
For some time now, several episodes of the popular comedy series have been running on Wednesdays in ProSieben’s midday programme. On 21 June 2023, the last episodes of the eighth season will be broadcast there from 12.50 pm.
So the hilarious, gripping, often extremely touching adventure of Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) and his colleagues comes to an end – flogged like a second-rate talk show. Many working fans who haven’t yet seen the comedy series’ ending on Netflix will thus not get to enjoy the grand finale.
Originally, the series was in danger of ending after just five seasons when US broadcaster Fox stopped airing it after season 5. Competitor NBC jumped into the breach to the delight of all fans and continued the series from 2018.
