The time travel series Outlander will soon open another chapter of the Fraser family history with season 7. It will be the penultimate chapter, because Outlander will officially end after season 8. But before that, there are still some exciting adventures waiting for the fans.

Start: Where and when is the 7th season of Outlander coming?
The 7th season of Outlander launched on 16 June 2023 in the USA on the Starz channel. The new episodes will be released weekly. But there is one exception.
Due to the pandemic, the 6th season had to be shortened from a planned 12 to 8 episodes. The 7th season will now make up for this and will consist of 16 episodes. And these will be released in two blocks of eight episodes each.
After the first eight episodes have aired, fans will have to prepare themselves for a somewhat longer Droughtlander. Because the second part of the season will not be seen until 2024.

With the 6th season, a few things have changed for German Outlander fans. The series was no longer broadcast first on pay TV and later on VOX, but only appeared as a purchase VoD on Amazon and Co. – but also close to the US broadcast and in German. This release plan will be repeated for season 7. A season pass for season 7 will be available for purchase on Amazon from 22 June.
