The final action sequence in Mission: Impossible 7 is strongly reminiscent of the 2009 video game Uncharted 2, and the co-director has now shared the proof himself online.
The Mission: Impossible series outdoes itself in terms of breathtaking action from part to part. Part 7, which is currently in cinemas, also offers several spectacular sequences, including “the biggest stunt in film history”.
The train scene in the finale, which was already teased in the trailers for Mission: Impossible 7 – Dead Reckoning Part One, is also electrifying. However, many fans have noticed that moments from it are strongly reminiscent of the popular video game Uncharted 2. The co-director of it has now spoken out about it himself.
Uncharted 2 maker shares image evidence of big Mission: Impossible 7 resemblance
On Twitter, Uncharted 2 co-director Bruce Straley (via The Direct ) posted two images from Dead Reckoning Part One that bear a striking resemblance to a train sequence from the video game:

Straley calls the parallels the sincerest form of flattery, regarding inspiration from Uncharted 2.
On Twitter, a user also replies under the post that Mission: Impossible 7 director Christopher McQuarrie has already been asked about being influenced by Uncharted. According to him, that was not the case:
