Star director Martin Scorsese’s gangster masterpiece is considered one of the best films of all time. Today it’s on TV. Scorsese’s film revolves around gangster Henry Hill (Liotta), who wins and eventually loses everything in a three-decade Mafia career. In one scene, he gets in the face of annoying wig salesman Morrie Kessler (Low), who constantly begs his friend Jimmy (Robert De Niro) for money. Speaking to The Moment podcast, Liotta revealed about the filming of the scene:

“[Chuck Low] thought I was really going for him. So he took advantage of my momentum and threw me around. I hit a wall and my lip split open. I had to stop the shoot and get it stitched up. “

According to Liotta, his injured lip is clearly visible in the film’s follow-up scene. Whether there was animosity between him and Low afterwards is not known. It didn’t hurt the film.
