For some time now, rumours have persisted that pop megastar Taylor Swift will soon be part of the MCU. The fact that she could play a superhero in “Deadpool 3” has now been given a boost by a video that has fans freaking out.
Actually, a video just shows pop superstar Taylor Swift watching the Kansas City Chiefs game against the New York Jets live in the stadium – keeping the gossip columns busy because it’s another indication that the artist and Chiefs active football player Travis Kelce must really have been lovers for some time. But the video is also interesting for film fans.

Because Swift didn’t attend the play alone. Besides “Game Of Thrones” star Sophie Turner and Blake Lively, three men were also part of Swift’s entourage: Lively’s husband Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman as well as Shawn Levy. And the two actors and the director are known to be currently making “Deadpool 3” – even though filming is currently on pause due to the still active actors’ strike.
TAYLOR SWIFT IN “DEADPOOL 3”? AS DAZZLER?
The fact that Levy, Reynolds and Jackman are spending time together can certainly be taken as an indication that they are all getting ready to resume filming “Deadpool 3” as soon as possible. And the fact that they are still in the company of Taylor Swift is causing enthusiastic reactions on X (formerly Twitter). Because many fans are convinced it can only mean one thing: Swift has a role in Deadpool 3!

Finally, this rumour has been floating around for a very long time. It involved the claim that Swift will be seen in Deadpool 3 as the mutant Dazzler. Dazzler is one of Marvel’s most powerful superheroines. She has the ability to turn any kind of sound into beams of light, which she can use in a variety of ways. In addition, she is an outstanding singer and melee fighter.
TAYLOR SWIFT AS DAZZLER – IT’S ALMOST BEEN DONE
Even before “X-Men: Dark Phoenix” there were rumours that we would get to see Swift as Dazzler in this film by Simon Kinberg. At the time, that probably didn’t work out with her schedule. The very small role was then taken over by actress Halston Sage. The multiverse adventure “Deadpool 3” could of course allude to this near-casting (it is interesting in this context that Sophie Turner, who was also present at the football game, is the “Dark Phoenix” leading lady).
If the casting coup with Swift turns out to be true, it may only be a cameo. However, rumours have been circulating for some time that MCU mastermind Kevin Feige wants to bring Taylor Swift permanently into the MCU. The multi-talented artist is not only a pop star, but also an author, director and actress who is increasingly pushing her way into film roles. So that would fit. At the same time, Swift has so much on her agenda that it’s hard to imagine her committing to a franchise. We think it’s more likely that she’ll only appear in “Deadpool 3” and that it will be decided later whether it will become something more.
However, this is still only speculation. An MCU role for Taylor Swift has not yet been officially confirmed. But since the weekend fans can be a little more hopeful.
