A little-known One Piece episode tells the prequel to the cult anime. The 18-minute episode is now available for a short time on YouTube.
Watching the One Piece anime takes over 400 hours, but the One Piece prequel only 18 minutes. On YouTube, the so-called One Piece Episode: 0 is now available, which is set about 25 years before the start of the main story and contains some old acquaintances from the animated adventure.
One Piece prequel features pirate war on YouTube – but only for 3 months
One Piece Episode 0 is designed as a flashback from a battle in the movie One Piece: Strong World. There, pirate giant Shiki (German voice: Ekkehardt Belle) remembers the time before the Golden Age of Pirates, when he faced off against Ruffy’s mentor Shanks (Martin Halm) in a massive battle.
Even among big One Piece fans, some will not know the prequel episode, and this is not surprising: as GamePro writes, Episode: 0 was released on DVD with a quantity of only 3000 (!) copies. Those who want to catch up on the prequel can now find it on YouTube. However, there are two limitations.

For one thing, anime fans need to hurry. According to GamePro, the episode will only be available until January 14, 2023. For another, there is no German dubbed version on YouTube. Only the Japanese language version with English or Japanese subtitles is available.
