After months, there is once again exciting news about Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming movie, which is set to be his last. Several names have been floated for the film’s cast, but now one mega-star seems pretty sure to be in the mix.
Brad Pitt is very likely to star in the final Tarantino film
According to Deadline Brad Pitt has been cast in Tarantino’s upcoming film The Movie Critic. Official confirmation of this casting coup is still pending, but Deadline is a reliable industry source. It is very likely that the actor will then take on a leading role in the film.
It would be the third collaboration for Tarantino and Pitt, following the star’s roles in Inglourious Basterds as Lieutenant Aldo Raine and Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood as Cliff Booth for the director.

It was also previously reported that Paul Walter Hauser (The Richard Jewell Case) and Samuel L. Jackson (Django Unchained) could also take on roles in the upcoming Tarantino film. There have been no official confirmations on this either
What is Tarantino’s The Movie Critic about?
There is vague information about the plot of Tarantino’s next film. The Movie Critic is set in Los Angeles in the 1970s. According to the director, the main character is a critic for a porn magazine and is a vulgar, cynical character. The director described him as a mix of the US radio presenter Howard Stern and Travis Bickle from Taxi Driver.

Deadline also points out in the Brad Pitt report that Tarantino has allegedly made changes to the script since then. The plot of The Movie Critic could therefore take a different direction
