The Night Agent has been dominating the Netflix charts in the series category since last week with season 2. The format is already at the top spot in 72 countries.
When The Night Agent first hit the streaming market leader the year before last, the agent series quickly became the third most successful launch of a Netflix original production. According to a Deadline report at the time, the first season made it into the top 10 of the service’s series charts in 93 countries.
With a total of 98.2 million streams, the first season is one of the most successful Netflix seasons ever. Can season 2 surpass this success?

Five days after the premiere of the second season of The Night Agent, the action-packed espionage drama is already at number one in the Netflix charts in 72 countries (via FlixPatrol ), and remains at the top in Germany. A local format is currently scratching at the series’ throne – namely the new episodes of Doppelhaushälfte. It remains to be seen whether the new episodes will also surpass the debut season overall.
In season 2, former FBI agent Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso) finally gets the chance to fully enter the role of the Night Agent. At the same time, his season 1 partner Rose Larkin (Luciane Buchanan) steps into the limelight when she goes on a search for him after a worrying phone call.
