Since the first announcement in spring 2023, there have been no further details about a planned release of the next The Big Bang Theory spin-off. Since the project is still in such an early stage of production, a launch before 2026 is unlikely.
Story: What is the plot of the new The Big Bang Theory series?
The new TBBT series is titled Stuart Fails to Save the Universe. This puts the character Stuart Bloom (Kevin Sussman) at the center of the new series. In the main series, he was a regular sidekick from season 2 onwards. Details of the plot are not yet known.

In addition to the spin-off, a second Young Sheldon spin-off is also in the works. The series with the working title Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage focuses on Georgie (Montana Jordan) and Mandy (Emily Osment) as a young family in Texas. The Young Sheldon spin-off is scheduled to premiere in the U.S. in fall 2024.
