Deadpool 3 is still a bit of a wait, but Ryan Reynolds is still bringing presents for this Christmas. There, in fact, highly official doubts are raised about Ferrell’s and Reynolds’ singing abilities. They solemnly affirm that they only use their own vocal cords. The trailer then reveals that they are being dubbed by Fab Morvan the whole time. Morvan was involved in a pop music scandal as half of the group Milli Vanilli in the late 1980s. The duo had not sung on any of their hits themselves.
Reynolds and Ferrell, however, obviously trust in their very own talents. Spirited is a frank parody of Charles Dickens’ Christmas story. This time, however, the Ghost of Christmas Present (Ferrell) cuts his teeth on his target (Reynolds). And has to subject himself to a soul-searching analysis.
