Etwhen two stones talk. Or a donut threatens the end of all life. No fun. But it all starts with Evelyn Wang (Michelle Yeoh) trying to save her tax return and her marriage. This brightly coloured genre concoction was nominated for 11 Oscars.
The film not only convinces with its wild images, but also with great performances by Yeoh and her colleagues, including Ke Huy Quan and Jamie Lee Curtis. The film was directed by Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, who already showed a flair for the bizarre in Swiss Army Man. Everything Everywhere All at Once is a film whose breathless cocktail of ideas is more daring than almost any other. You simply have to see it.
