What is the horror series Bee Swarm from Amazon Prime Video about?
Swarm is the name of a pop star’s fans in the series who resembles Beyoncé, and young Dre (Dominique Fishback from Judas and the Black Messiah) is one of the most passionate admirers in Swarm. In the series, Dre embarks on a journey across the US because of her obsession, with obviously bloody consequences.
The series was created by Janine Nabers (Unreal, Watchmen) and Donald Glover (Atlanta). Former Community star Glover will also direct the first episode.
The cast of the Amazon series includes lead actress Dominique Fishback, as well as Chloe Bailey (Grown-ish), Damson Idris (Snowfall), Rory Culkin (Signs) and Kiersey Clemons (Zack Snyder’s Justice League).
Swarm of Bees comes to Amazon Prime Video * on 17 March 2023. For those still wondering, despite the plot description: No, this swarm has nothing to do with the Frank Schätzing adaptation The Swarm.
