The Walking Dead star Jeffrey Dean Morgan is mixing it up in season 4 of The Boys on Amazon Prime. In a new picture from the set, he shows himself visibly motivated.
The 4th season of The Boys is currently filming. The superhero series has built up a handsome ensemble over the past few years. One of the best castings, however, is not so long ago: In the new episodes we can look forward to the arrival of Jeffrey Dean Morgan in The Boys universe.
That sounds extremely promising. Morgan has already played an extremely problematic superhero in the past, namely the Comedian in Watchmen, who could also appear directly in The Boys. In addition, Morgan is known from hit series such as Supernatural and The Walking Dead.

Now the Negan actor shares a new picture from the set. Defiant look and extended middle finger: yes, that attitude suits The Boys. Showrunner Eric Kripke seems to have made a very good casting decision. The big question is what role Morgan will play in season 4. This has not been officially announced yet.

When the 4th season of The Boys will start is unclear. While the first two seasons were released in July 2019 and September 2020, we had to wait two years for season 3. The new episodes might not arrive until 2024. At least we know that season 4 will definitely not be the last. Amazon has big plans for The Boys, which is also clear from the spin-offs Diabolical and Gen V.
