In Deadpool 3, Hugh Jackman returns as Wolverine. But that’s not the only comeback, as a quirky (and actually dead) fan favorite from Part 2 is also back again
Even though Deadpool 3 is already filming, fans will have to wait quite a while for the Marvel sequel. The Ryan Reynolds blockbuster will not open in theaters until the end of 2024. The film will feature the spectacular return of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. But that’s not all. Another fan favorite, who actually died in Deadpool 2, also returns.
Deadpool 3 brings back dead fan favorite Peter
As Deadline reports, Rob Delaney is back in the upcoming Deadpool installment. He first appeared in Deadpool 2 as X-Force member Peter.
His quirky character shone most notably with the likeable trait of not having any superpowers or any form of extraordinary abilities at all. Yet, like almost all the other X-Force members, the lovable average guy actually died in Deadpool 2.
Still, nothing stands in the way of a return because Delaney has already signed the contract for his Deadpool 3 return. How he and also Jackman as Wolverine will then be back in the Marvel sequel is not yet known. However, nothing is impossible in the Marvel multiverse by now…
In Germany, Deadpool 3 will open in theaters on November 6, 2024. As the prelude to Phase 6, the sequel officially marks Deadpool’s entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
