Urban had hosted the show since 1997 and only suspended in 2009 due to illness. “I can’t imagine it any other way,” writes one fan, while another laments the “end of an era.” Another viewer even calls for Germany to withdraw from the Eurovision Song Contest for a few years after Urban’s departure.
