Sci-fi fans will be celebrating properly in 2023. Doctor Who, one of the best and longest running series in the genre, is returning. And with no less than three specials in which darling David Tennant (Bad Samaritan) once again takes on the role of the titular Doctor. His return can now be seen for the first time in a long trailer.

Doctor Who favorite David Tennant returns after 10-year hiatus
Doctor Who has been around as a sci-fi series since 1963, with the story revolving around a time-traveling alien who saves humanity from various dangers in a variety of incarnations. Since the start, a total of 14 actors have played the role of the Doctor. Tennant can slip into the skin of the world savior twice as the 10th and 14th incarnation.
The upcoming 14th season of the series will be preceded by three Doctor Who specials with Tennant. After that, the role will be taken over by Ncuti Gatwa (Sex Education), who will star in the regular episodes.
