Even before the live-action film adaptation of One Piece, Netflix is showing its adaptation of the hit anime Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead. The first long trailer is captivating with an apocalypse complete with zombie shark.
Anime fans are eagerly waiting to see if Netflix’s adaptation of the hit anime One Piece will pay off. But even before that, another adaptation will show whether the streaming service has to the live-action adaptation. Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead is absolutely freaky horror fun and is based on the hit manga of the same name Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead by Haro Aso. Now here’s the first trailer, whose best moment is delivered by a zombie shark.

Netflix gets anime fans in the mood for One Piece via horror shark
Zom 100 follows a young man named Akira (Eiji Akaso) who nearly works himself to death in his toxic business. When the zombie apocalypse suddenly breaks out, it is a stroke of luck for him. Finally freed from all his worries, he wants to work off a so-called bucket list: He writes down 100 things he wants to do before he is bitten by a zombie.
On his journey, he not only meets lots of undead, but also various comrades-in-arms. However, in one of the most iconic scenes of the original, a gigantic zombie shark crosses his path. If the live-action film becomes a success on Netflix, this bodes well for the adaptation of One Piece.
