Naruto is one of the most popular anime classics ever. To mark the 15th anniversary of the series, it is now coming back to home cinema in a lovingly designed Collector’s Edition. 130 episodes of magical action and lots of extras await you.
While the battle against the fearsome Titans enters its final round in Attack on Titan, Naruto’s adventures have already come to an end. While the end of a favourite series can hurt, there is also reason to rejoice: we can follow the journey of Naruto’s son in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations and the original series has been re-released as a three-part Collector’s Edition to celebrate the anime’s 15th anniversary. Since Thursday, the 2nd part of the lavishly presented collection is available on Amazon and once again has many goodies in its luggage.
As is so often the case with Japanese animated series, the Blu-ray Collector’s Edition of Naruto Shippuden also has a hefty price tag. In this country, anime labels charge considerably more for their home cinema releases than we are used to from other films and series. With lovingly designed collector’s editions, however, you can turn a blind eye. Because the Naruto Collector’s Editions are a dream for fans.
This is what you get in the Naruto Shippuden Collector’s Edition
The second box set includes seasons 12 to season 17, so you get six seasons, 130 episodes and 50 hours of ninjas, samurai and monsters. The following extras will make your fan hearts beat faster:
If the Naruto Collector’s Editions have passed you by so far, you’ll want to start with the 1st box. It’s still available on Amazon * but we don’t know for how long. Anime special editions often sell out very quickly. The Naruto Shippuden – Collector’s Edition – Part I comprises 242 episodes in 11 seasons and even comes to 87 (!) hours. Here, too, there is an artbook, a keychain, posters, storyboards and more.
Tips for even more ninja feeling
If the ninja fever won’t let you go, we have a few creative ideas for you. How about a ninja coat * for Halloween, carnival or the next cosplay event? Or a ninja hot air fryer *? You’re probably wondering if the fryer can do the Jutsu of a Thousand Shadow Doubles. We can’t rule it out, but we can’t guarantee it either.
