The 4th and final season of The Umbrella Academy has divided fans. Has this also made itself felt in the current Netflix Top 10?
The Umbrella Academy is one of Netflix’s most reliable series. The superhero story has been garnering positive reviews and satisfactory figures since 2019. It’s not a record-breaking high-flyer like Wednesday, Bridgerton or Stranger Things, but it’s a safe bet. At least until season 4.

At the time of writing, The Umbrella Academy is only in second place in the Netflix charts. Interestingly, this is not only the case in Germany. In the USA, the series was replaced after less than a week by the comedy special Matt Rife: Lucid – A Crowd Work Special. In countries such as France, Mexico and Argentina, it remains in 1st place.
According to evaluations by What’s on Netflix, the series started with fewer views overall than the 3rd season. Regardless of the quality of the finale, this indicates a decline in interest. Many Netflix series do not make it beyond a 3rd season and in this case the story arc was apparently overstretched
