On Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, a viewer has prepared a special surprise for Günther Jauch. In addition to a stuffed animal, she has made a clay figure for the host.
On January 20, Günther Jauch had to deal with a special candidate on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? Not only did she have a special souvenir for him, but she also didn’t know everyday terms.
“The similarity is striking”: candidate shines with Jauch’s clay figure
When Maja Nickles takes a seat on the candidate’s chair, she reveals to Günther Jauch two special items that she has brought with her for the show. One of them is a stuffed animal named Katzi, which Jauch mistakenly thinks is a bear. The moderator is fascinated, but notes, “It has never been washed.”
But the biggest surprise followed with a small homemade clay figure of Günther Jauch for the 25th anniversary of the quiz show. But Jauch is still skeptical: “You mean the resemblance… striking, or what?” But the candidate replies, “I thought I got the nose quite right.” Then the audience burst out laughing.
“We’ve never had anyone like you before”: Contestant doesn’t know what a national holiday is
When it came to the questions, the contestant fascinated Günther Jauch even more. Not knowing that elderberries are not suitable for raw consumption can still happen. But when she confused Farin Urlaub with Farid Bang, jaws dropped. Fortunately, she had her audience lifeline at the ready.
When it comes to fortune cookies, Jauch admits his dislike of this type of cookie. But Nickles objects: “I always like it. Sayings like ‘You’ll have great luck’.” Jauch can only roll his eyes. “God’s great zoo often comes by here… but today… we’ve never had anyone like you!” sighs the host.
Maja Nickles was then knocked out by the 32,000-euro question. When asked which country doesn’t have an official national holiday, she didn’t even know what a national holiday was. So she went home with 16,000 euros. She wants to save the money, but she adds, “At first I thought about maybe going to the hairdresser’s”.
