Sweet Home is based on a South Korean online comic of the same name by Kim Carnby and Hwang Young-chan. Season 1 of the Netflix series was released on Netflix in December 2020. The first episodes of the zombie series received mixed reviews three years ago. While the Times of India praised the action scenes and dramatic moments of the series, Bloody Disgusting criticized the lack of independent ideas.
