An infamous horror series is now available to stream in its entirety on Netflix. The sixth installment of the franchise is set to continue shortly after a break of over a decade.
Death cannot be fooled. In the five parts of the Final Destination series, a series of young people who meet their deaths in increasingly bizarre ways also have to find this out. The horror franchise is now fully represented on Netflix.

Every movie in the Final Destination series works in roughly the same way: a group of friends or acquaintances accidentally survive a serious accident completely unscathed. But death doesn’t want to miss out on its harvest. And so an invisible force manipulates objects in the vicinity of the supposedly lucky ones. Who then often perish in particularly grotesque ways

Protagonists die from a loose steel cable or parts of a shower curtain, while barbecuing, in the tanning salon or during ballet training. The hair-raising preparation of the mostly extremely bloody deaths is the biggest attraction of the series for many fans.
Since Final Destination 5 in 2011, the community has been waiting for a sequel, which has actually been in the works since the end of the 2010s. Filming on Final Destination 6: Bloodlines began in early May 2024, as Bloody Disgusting quotes from a social media message. The creators have already faked their deaths for the horror sequel. It is not yet clear when exactly the sequel will be released in cinemas or streamed.
