Monsters, action and a dash of horror: the Netflix series Gyeongseong Creature was a surprising success and will soon continue with season 2. The first teaser trailer now reveals the start date and a huge leap in time

Since the mega-success of Squid Game, Netflix has been busy investing in exciting genre shows from South Korea. One of these is the horror series Gyeongseong Creature, which landed in the Netflix top 10 in 69 countries worldwide immediately after its premiere last December.

Now the monster fest continues in just a few weeks with season 2, as the first teaser trailer reveals. It promises fans visually stunning action, creepy horror creatures and a time jump of 79 years

Netflix’s Gyeongseong Creature season 2 starts the monster horror all over again in 2024

Season 1 of Gyeongseong Creature took us back to 1945 Korea during the Japanese military occupation and dealt with sinister conspiracies involving human experimentation and monstrous creatures. And those who stuck with it until the end of the ten episodes were left with one of the most powerful cliffhangers in the series’ history
