Fantasy adventure The Last Dragon comes to an end: After 7 seasons, Netflix is ending

The Last Dragon started in 2018 as a fantasy animation series on Netflix, created by Justin Richmond and Aaron Ehasz. Ehasz was previously best known as a screenwriter for the popular animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender. The story, which is planned to span seven seasons, was told in two parts. While seasons 1 through 3 were titled The Prince of Dragons, season 4 is titled The Mystery of Aravos.

The series centers on the two human princes Callum and Ezran, who have taken it upon themselves to restore peace between the divided magical and human kingdoms. To do so, they are searching for a dragon egg believed to have been destroyed, which is said to contain the Prince of Dragons and to be brought back to Xadia.

Season 7 will tie up the various storylines of the series in one final adventure. It will see a reunion with the two princes Callum and Ezran, as well as the other characters around Aravos, Claudia, Terry and Rayla.

The English original of the fantasy series features the voices of Jack De Sena (Wild Beasts), Sasha Rojen (The Flash), Paula Burrowns (Freaky Friday), Jason Simpson (Sausage Party) and Kazumi Evans (Barbie – The Magic of Dolphins), among others.
