Horror movie brings back horror after 50 years: will audiences get sick again?
In The Exorcist: Confession, a demon takes possession of two little girls. Father Victor Fielding (Leslie Odom Jr.) seeks help from Chris MacNeil, who endured a similar ordeal decades ago. In the new trailer, the demon taunts MacNeil with the fate of her daughter from Part 1.
Whether the Exorcist sequel will have a similar impact as the original is questionable. In 1973, people are said to have vomited in rows, allegedly fainted or even had a heart attack (via New York Post ). 50 years and films like Terrifier 2 later, such chaos seems hard to imagine.
